Essay

The research urges the problem of musical training of future teachers of choreography in the process of piano learning. The author analyzed the views of scientists of different areas of expertise on a certain problem, revealed the essence of musical training of choreographers, determined the criteria, indicators and levels of improvement of the specified quality. A staged method of improving musical training of students in the process of piano learning is theoretically substantiated and experimentally verified, which is based on the principles of intuitive ways of learning, systemacy and consistency, combination of traditions and innovation, emotional way of musical learning; development of conscious sense of rhythm and literacy aimed at improving musical preparedness), as well as pedagogical conditions that positively influence the improvement of musical training of future teachers of choreography (activation by future teachers of choreography of artistic and figurative perception of musical works, stimulation of motivation for musical training, reliance on life, artistic and musical experience of students, ensuring integration of musical knowledge). The method is implemented in three stages: inductive and information, reflexive and directed, summary and productive, during which motivational, cognitive, explanatory and illustrative, as well as special methods (modeling of artistic and creative situations, case method, method of brainstorming) were introduced.
