The object of the study is partnership relations between suppliers and buyers in the food market. In order to achieve the defined goal and solve the tasks set in the dissertation, various general scientific and special methods of scientific knowledge were used. In particular, methods of analysis and synthesis; systematic approach; economic and mathematical modelling; structural modelling method; empirical methods such as surveys and questionnaires; comparative analysis; graphical modelling. The scientific novelty of the results obtained is the development of new approaches to modelling partnerships between suppliers and consumers in the food market. The scientific results obtained in the course of the study determine the scientific novelty of the thesis, in particular, the following have been improved: - methodological approaches to modelling long-term partnerships, namely, a model of long-term customer orientation has been developed, which, unlike the existing ones, takes into account such key determinants as the dependence of the parties, the level of trust, specific investments and satisfaction with cooperation; - tools for assessing the level of trust between partners, by introducing additional criteria based on quantitative and qualitative assessment of trust in relations between suppliers and consumers, which, unlike the existing ones, allow for a more objective consideration of the impact of this factor on long-term cooperation; - Adaptation of existing models to the Ukrainian market environment, namely, changes to existing supply chain management concepts, taking into account the specifics of the Ukrainian business environment, including limited resources, market instability and high competition. The following were further developed: - Modern concepts of partnerships, including transaction cost theory, social exchange and network approaches. This allowed us to identify the key factors that influence the stability and duration of partnerships, as well as the relationships between them. - a methodological approach to assessing dependence in relationships, the criteria for assessing the dependence of the parties in the relationship, including both quantitative and qualitative indicators that take into account the relationship between dependence and trust, are clarified and a methodology for analysing the impact of dependence on the readiness for long-term cooperation is proposed; - segmentation of partners based on long-term prospects, which, unlike the existing ones, is based on the analysis of their economic importance, level of dependence and readiness for cooperation. Approaches to building a portfolio of partnerships focused on long-term stability.
