The work presents a theoretical generalization and a new solution to the scientific task, which is to clarify the essence and features of the administrative and legal principles of the activities of local self-government bodies in the field of regulation of land relations, on the basis of which to develop proposals and recommendations aimed at improving administrative legislation that regulates public relations in the relevant sphere of public life. The state regional policy in the field of land relations as an object of administrative and legal regulation and the subject of activity of local self-government bodies is described. The place of local self-government bodies in the system of subjects of administrative and legal regulation of land relations is established. The directions of administrative and legal regulation of land relations by local self-government bodies are highlighted. The administrative instruments of local self-government bodies in the field of regulation of land relations are outlined. The administrative procedures of local self-government bodies in the field of regulation of land relations are disclosed. The peculiarities of interaction of local self-government bodies with state and public institutions in the field of regulation of land relations are clarified. The guarantees of observance of the rights of the territorial community in the field of management of land relations are characterized. The ways of development of administrative legislation in terms of improving the activities of local self-government bodies in the field of legal regulation of land relations in Ukraine are worked out.
