Essay

This study provides a comprehensive and systemic analysis of the phenomenon of charisma, its real and imitative manifestations in the existence of man and community, as well as existential and ideological foundations, which guide the development and self-realization of personality and the community of personalities. It is noted that the issue of charisma is associated not only with personal, but also with social human being. Human charisma as an existential force and charm gives a man an opportunity to attract attention, influence, actualize others in co- creation or manipulate them, thereby changing even the course of history. The revealed and developed charisma contributes one’s achievement of the fullness of life and self-realization of a person in society. Constructive charisma as an indicator of maturity and integrity of a person and a community makes it possible to expand one’s responsibility in different spheres of life, developing them and showing creativity in them. The basis of the study is a number of methodological approaches, among which the conceptual approach to charisma by M. Weber became theoretically significant, which made it possible to comprehend both the personal and social dimensions of this phenomenon. For the awareness of constructive and destructive manifestations of charisma in the community and society, the ideas proposed in the humanistic psychoanalysis of E. Fromm, who studied the biophilic and necrophilic orientation of the personality, are fruitful. The philosophy of dialogue by M. Buber made it possible to comprehend the relationships of a charismatic personality in a couple and a family, as well as a charismatic leader in a community according to the models «I – It», «I – You». The philosophy of J. Huizinga allowed us to understand the phenomenon of charisma in the context of human play activity in society. The methodological approach of V. Andrushchenko, based on the phenomenon of organized society and freedom in the existence of a person and a country, turned out to be heuristically valuable for understanding constructive charisma. The methodology of meta-anthropology developed by N. Khamitov became productive, which allowed us to understand the existential and sociocultural transformations of the bearer of charisma and his worldview in ordinary, boundary and meta-boundary dimensions of human being. The methodological strategy of social meta- anthropology by S. Krylova, which allowed us to consider the phenomenon of the subject of charisma in the context of its social being, while comprehending the specifics of the group charisma of the community, became significant. While understanding gender characteristics in the activity and life world of a charismatic personality, the androgynous analysis approach of N. Khamitov and S. Krylova proved fruitful, which allowed us to analyze the criteria for the constructive integrity of a charismatic personality, a couple, and a family of personalities, united by love. As a result, the author’s methodological strategy – the meta-anthropology of charisma was developed, which allowed us to make a number of heuristic conclusions about being of a bearer of charisma and a charismatic community in society. This strategy allows for a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the phenomena of a real and imitative charisma of a person, a couple, and a community, their existential, ideological, socio-cultural aspects, and potentials. Understanding the existential types of charisma in the context of the above- mentioned dimensions of being within the framework of the meta-anthropology of charisma has led us to develop an approach, according to which, the acquisition of a philosophical worldview by a person encourages the actualization of real constructive manifestations of charisma in a community and society through taking responsibility for oneself, one’s life and creative path, relationships, as well as commitment to the goals and meanings of one’s being. These methodological approaches were implemented on the basis of general scientific methods of cognition, among which it is necessary to highlight the hermeneutic and comparative approaches, which make it possible to correctly interpret scientific texts and compare their ideas with life, as well as the biographical approach, which allowed to analyze charisma, based on the example of specific personalities and communities. The scientific novelty of the dissertation research consists in the creation of a holistic concept of charisma of a person and a community and, on the basis of classical and modern approaches to the phenomenon of charisma, the development of a new author’s methodology – the meta-anthropology of charisma.
