Chub O. Managing the economic efficiency of innovative development of milk producing enterprises in the context of digitalization

The dissertation presents a new solution to a complex scientific problem of substantiating theoretical, methodological, methodological and applied provisions for managing the economic efficiency of innovative development of milk-producing enterprises in the context of digitalization. The factors for increasing the economic efficiency of milk-producing enterprises in the system of innovative development are determined. Methodological methods for assessing the return on investment in the innovative development of agricultural milk-producing enterprises are substantiated. A holistic concept of building the architecture and functioning of the architectonics of the mechanism for managing the economic efficiency of innovative development of agricultural enterprises producing milk has been substantiated, which combines traditional principles and approaches to implementing an innovative model of development of micro-level entities with prioritizing investments in those aimed at creating sustainable competitive advantages of enterprises and their products, comprehensive consideration of the challenges and problems of digitization of production and commercial processes in the management of the main activity of commodity producers, increasing the controllability of the management system, as well as implementing measures aimed at progressive and stable increase in the economic efficiency of the main activity of enterprises. A scientific interpretation of the definition of "effective innovative development" has been developed in relation to the functioning of agricultural enterprises. The impact of digitalization and automation of production and management processes on the nature of the process of innovative development of milk-producing enterprises was identified by isolating the results of the action of factors of increasing labor productivity and production and technological systems, improving the quality of management and implementing regulatory influences at the operational level, reducing the need for production and administrative and managerial personnel, with further determination of the effects of the use of digital tools and automation tools in the indicated areas and manifestations of influence. The first section examines the genesis of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of research on the innovative development of subjects of economic relations and management of its efficiency, identifies the directions of innovative development of agricultural enterprises-milk producers, outlines the role and place of digitalization and automation in the system of tools for increasing the efficiency of the functioning and development of agricultural enterprises of the dairy specialization. The second section substantiates the typology of innovations in dairy cattle breeding, identifies factors for increasing the economic efficiency of milk producers in the process of implementing production, commercial and management innovations; develops methodological techniques for assessing the return on investment in the innovative development of agricultural enterprises-milk producers. The third section identifies trends in the dynamics of changes in the economic efficiency of the functioning of milk producers, assesses the level of efficiency and competitiveness of innovation-oriented enterprises of the dairy sector, and performs a comparative analysis of the implementation of various types of production innovation solutions by milk producers. The fourth section substantiates the architecture and architectonics of mechanisms for managing the economic efficiency of innovative development of agricultural enterprises in the dairy sector, substantiates the principles, criteria and approaches to differentiating milk production enterprises by size, scale and degree of readiness to accept innovations, and also defines the approaches, procedures and features of integrating mechanisms for managing the efficiency of innovative development into the management of dairy enterprises. The fifth section substantiates the classification of strategies for innovative development of milk production enterprises in the context of digitalization, formalizes the procedures for evaluating strategic alternatives and generating innovative development strategies in the context of economic efficiency and competitiveness, and also substantiates the principles and procedures for integrating innovative development strategies into general strategies for managing the economic efficiency of milk production enterprises. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the possibility of applying the developed recommendations by managers of dairy enterprises of specialization during the development of strategic development plans; state authorities and local governments in creating sectoral and regional programs aimed at improving the efficiency of milk production enterprises.
