The dissertation work is devoted to the scientific and applied problems of greening economic relations in the field of water use as a key element of the transformation of existing economic models towards more sustainable development. The relevance of the study is due to the factors of depletion of water resources against the background of increasing demand, mass pollution of aquatic ecosystems and their degradation due to irrational water use and significant anthropogenic and technogenic load. The study is aimed at substantiating tools and approaches that will ensure balanced development of the field of water use, taking into account environmental constraints, economic feasibility and social responsibility of entrepreneurial activity in the context of modern concepts of social development (sustainable development, circular economy and blue growth).
The purpose of the dissertation research is to improve theoretical and methodological provisions and develop scientifically based practical recommendations on greening economic relations in the field of water use on the basis of social responsibility of entrepreneurial activity.
The object of the study is the process of greening economic relations in the field of water use.

- theoretical approaches to greening economic relations in the field of water use by substantiating the dynamic transition from a resource-intensive business model based on the unilateral exploitation of water resources to an integrated model of the blue economy, which, in conditions of natural monopoly, provides for a harmonious combination of economic benefit, social responsibility and environmental sustainability for sustainable development and integration of water management activities into natural ecosystems;
- conceptual and categorical apparatus of economic and ecological relations based on clarification of definitions: a) "greening of economic relations in the field of water use" as a process of systematic implementation of environmental principles and approaches in all aspects of economic activity related to the use of water resources, to strengthen environmental sustainability and increase social responsibility in economic processes; b) "infrastructure verification" - as a process of checking the compliance of the infrastructure system with established standards, specifications and safety requirements according to the class of emergency situations, taking into account environmental, economic, technological and social components to determine the possibility of implementing elements of the circular economy and blue-green infrastructure; as well as a tool for implementing socially responsible and environmentally oriented strategies to meet the interests of society and business and the sustainable development of water management enterprises as a whole;
- methodological support for assessing the degree of greening of business activities in the field of water use, which, unlike existing ones, provides, based on an integrated approach, the use of a system of four blocks of indicators: water consumption efficiency, wastewater management, compliance with regulatory requirements and social responsibility, as well as the level of innovation, which directly affect greening and sustainable development in the field of water use;
- a methodological approach to assessing the components of social responsibility of water supply and sewage water management enterprises, the essence of which, unlike existing ones, takes into account the conditions of a natural monopoly, and on the basis of indicators and indicators justified for each component, allows assessing the state of social responsibility, in particular environmental, of such enterprises in order to identify shortcomings in the management system with the organization of measures to improve it;
- criteria for the state of implementation of business social responsibility, which, unlike the existing ones, is supplemented by components: environmental, institutional, infrastructural, socio-economic, innovative and philanthropic, in accordance with which tools for implementing social responsibility at water supply and sewage enterprises are proposed, including digital water resources management, the use of water-saving technologies and advanced wastewater treatment technologies, charitable assistance for the renewal of water infrastructure.
