The dissertation presents the rationale and evaluation of the effectiveness of organizational and methodological conditions for optimizing the training process of young swimmers at the initial stage of sports training.
The aim of the research is to scientifically substantiate the organizational and methodological conditions for optimizing the educational and training process of young swimmers at the stage of initial sports training.
The introduction substantiates the relevance of the problem, defines the object, subject, purpose, tasks, and research methods, and reveals the scientific novelty, practical significance of the work, and the author's personal contribution as reflected in co-authored publications. It also presents the approbation of the research results and the number of publications on the dissertation topic.
Scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the following:
– for the first time, the structure of the model of the stage of initial training of young athletes in swimming was proposed, the main principles of which were compliance with the stages of its implementation and the algorithm for the sequence of solving training tasks, the structural components of which were the target, didactic-methodical, operational-methodical, diagnostic-control blocks;
– for the first time, the criteria for the effectiveness of the educational and training process of children of primary school age in swimming were proposed, the components of which are: studying the dynamics of indicators of the physical condition of children (physical development, physical performance, adaptive and reserve capabilities of the body); the formation of competencies in the aquatic environment; the level of swimming and physical fitness of younger schoolchildren; a system for monitoring the effectiveness of the educational and training process;
– for the first time, the structure and content of a three-level program of swimming classes using complex special exercises on water and land at the stage of initial sports training of boys 6–7 years old were theoretically substantiated, which contains the goal, tasks, principles, methods, content of classes and criteria for effectiveness;
– for the first time, the positive effect of swimming equipment using special exercises on land and water on the indicators of the physical condition of boys of primary school age was determined, which consists in improving the indicators of functional condition, physical and swimming fitness;
– the results of scientific research on the features of physical development, physical fitness and functional condition of boys 6–7 years old were supplemented;
– information on the features of organizing swimming lessons with children of primary school age and their impact on the indicators of the physical condition of boys 6–7 years old was expanded;
– data on the impact of swimming lessons on the indicators of physical fitness of children of primary school age were supplemented;
– the provisions on the features of using outdoor games in water during swimming lessons with children 6–7 years old were further developed.
Practical significance lies in the development and implementation of organizational and methodological conditions for optimizing the training process of young swimmers at the initial stage of sports training, which contributed to the improvement of their functional state, physical fitness, and swimming preparedness.
The results of the study can be used to improve the training process of young swimmers aged 6–7 at the initial stage of sports training.
