Essay

The dissertation is an experimental study on the formation of genre-stylistic competence of future teachers of musical art and choreography. It is proved that this problem deserves special scientific attention, because traditional approaches to the professional training of future teachers of musical art and choreography do not fully satisfy the demands of modern society regarding the acquisition by future teachers of genre-stylistic knowledge, practical skills in the interpretation of musical and choreographic works. Considering that genre and style competence is an important component of the professional training of future teachers of musical art and choreography, the basis for the success of further pedagogical and performing activities, its formation becomes an urgent problem of professional education.
