Object of the study. The process of physical therapy for young adults with bruxism Aim of the study. o theoretically substantiate, develop, and evaluate the effectiveness of a comprehensive physical therapy program for young adults with bruxism, aimed at improving patients' functional capabilities by correcting signs of orofacial dysfunction and enhancing the condition of the temporomandibular joint, alleviating myofascial pain syndrome, normalizing indicators of autonomic dysfunction, improving psycho-emotional state, and enhancing overall quality of life. Research methods. Analysis and synthesis of specialized and scientific-methodological literature. Quantitative assessment was performed using the following indicators: patient complaints, physical examination and palpation of the orofacial region, measurement of mandibular range of motion and related limitations using the Jaw Functional Limitation Scale and the Oral Health Impact Profile. Temporomandibular joint dysfunction was assessed using the Hamburg Test and the Helkimo Index. Myofascial pain syndrome in the masticatory muscles and neck region was evaluated through palpation and manual muscle testing. The functional bioelectrical activity of muscles was assessed via electromyographic parameters (symmetry indices of the masseter and temporalis muscles, and mean amplitudes of bioelectrical activity). The psycho-emotional state was evaluated using the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale; sleep quality was assessed with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Autonomic nervous system function was examined via 24-hour heart rate variability monitoring. Quality of life was evaluated using the SF-36 questionnaire. Statistical analysis methods were applied to process the obtained data. Theoretical and practical significance. The study resulted in the development of a scientifically grounded comprehensive physical therapy program for young adults with bruxism.. Scientific novelty. The study provides a theoretical and scientific rationale for the development of a comprehensive physical therapy program tailored to young adults with bruxism.
