The purpose of the study is to develop, theoretically substantiate, and experimentally verify a methodology for forming musical and performing competence of future teachers of musical art based on the Ukrainian piano school.The scientific novelty of the study is that:
– for the first time, a phased methodology for the formation of musical and instrumental competence of future teachers of musical art has been developed on the basis of the Ukrainian piano school, as the ability and capacity of the latter to carry out highly qualified creative musical and artistic activity in its various manifestations and forms at a high musical and professional level, depending on modern cultural demands and taking into account the application of the historical and cultural tradition of the Ukrainian piano school as a promising educational trend.; the component structure of the phenomenon under study has been determined, which includes conscious-motivational, intellectual-creative, personal-stylistic, methodological-technological, performance-presentation components, each of which includes criteria for assessing the levels of formation (motivational-reflective, content-interpretative, individual-stylistic, constructive-technological, artistic-communicative); conditions for the formation of predictive skills of future teachers of musical art in the process of piano training are proposed (creation of students' psychological disposition to performance based on the reflexive-positional definition of future teachers of musical art; expansion based on task technology of the system of knowledge of a cultural, theoretical-methodological, historical-stylistic and interpretative-analytical nature; stimulation of the need for students' performing self-realization on the basis of their systematic and purposeful involvement in the concert-project space, taking into account individual characteristics and technical capabilities.
A methodological complex for the formation of musical and performing competence was proposed based on a combination of key trends in the development of Ukrainian piano teaching, which were formed in the pedagogical practice of leading pianists and teachers of Ukraine and the requirements of the modern educational system, which provides for the organization of the educational process based on the implementation of the following methods: reflection, self-awareness and positional analysis; discussion-analytical and interactive methods of practical work; interpretative-analytical tasks, problem-performance tasks, variant performance solutions; solving reconstructive historical-stylistic tasks, gradual complication of tasks, education, improvisational training, cooperative-project learning.
– the essence of the concept of “musical-performance competence” has been clarified, the peculiarity of organizing the musical-performance activity of future specialists has been agreed on based on task technology, which contributes to the formation of not only a high level of performing skills, but also the ability to pedagogical independence, critical thinking and creative interpretation of musical material.
– the methodology for training future teachers of musical art for interpretative-performance and artistic-educational activities in musical art lessons has been improved.The practical significance of the research results lies in the creation and experimental testing of a methodological complex that ensures the formation of musical and performing competence of future teachers of musical art. Within the framework of the research, a system of organizational and pedagogical measures, methods and techniques that integrate the trends and principles of the development of the Ukrainian piano school has been proposed and substantiated. The proposed methods and pedagogical conditions can be used within the framework of teaching the following professional disciplines: “Performing Mastery Course”, “Musical and Performing Practicum”, “Special Musical Instrument”, “Main Musical Instrument”, “Practical Course of Performing and Pedagogical Interpretation of Instrumental Works/Vocal and Choral Works”, “Ensemble Music Making”, “Production (Pedagogical) Practice in Specialized Art Education Institutions (I-IV Grades)”, “Production (Pedagogical) Practice in Specialized Art Education Institutions (V-VIII Grades)”.
