The dissertation is devoted to summarizing the content, teaching and methodological support, and trends in the formation of general ICT-competencies of future managers of sociocultural activities in the process of professional training in the specialty 028 Management of Sociocultural Activities, as well as outlining the directions for their implementation in the sociocultural and digital spheres of modernity.
The relevance of the study lies in the fact that the current stage of society’s development is characterized by intensive processes of digitalization, the emergence of a knowledge economy, and the expansion of the culture and creative industries sector, which leads to growing demands on managers of sociocultural activities as key actors in the management of cultural and artistic projects. In the context of European integration processes, the implementation of European and national strategies for digital transformation and the modernization of vocational education, the role of training specialists in the field of 028 Management of Sociocultural Activities, aimed at developing competitive, mobile, socially responsible, and digitally literate managers, is becoming increasingly important.
The paper substantiates for the first time a level-based assessment model, content, and organizational and methodological support for the formation of general ICT-competencies of future managers of sociocultural activities, covering the updated content of professional training for students majoring in 028 Management of Sociocultural Activities, reflected in the author’s elective discipline «Fundamentals of Digitalization of Management of Sociocultural Activities», the combination of traditional and digital educational technologies, as well as the implementation of integrative and practice-oriented scientific approaches in colleges of culture and arts; the thematic structure of the content and the specifics of the organizational and methodological support of the process of forming general ICT-competencies of future managers of sociocultural activities have been determined, with an emphasis on the development of leading components – technological, didactic and methodological, motivational, informational, as well as project and managerial thinking, team interaction, readiness for self-education and lifelong learning in a digital educational environment; the conceptual framework of the study has been improved by clarifying the definition of «general ICT-competencies of future managers of sociocultural activities» as a set of integrated personal qualities that combine cross-cutting indicators (proficiency in IE technologies, digital productivity, information awareness, effective data management, media culture, digital creativity, digital research, digital innovation, digital communication, and digital collaboration) as components of professional competence necessary for the effective management of sociocultural projects in the context of digitalization; content and methodological support for the process of forming general ICT-competencies by adapting technological tools of competency-based, professional, activity-based, and practice-oriented approaches to the specifics of training future SCD managers.
The practical significance of the work lies in the experimental verification of the effectiveness of the proposed level model, content, and organizational and methodological support for the formation of general ICT-competencies of future managers of sociocultural activities in the process of their professional training in colleges of culture and arts; the developed program and methodological materials of the author’s discipline «Fundamentals of Digitalization of Management of Sociocultural Activities»; A system of practice-oriented tasks, case studies, project work, as well as criteria, indicators, and levels of general ICT-competence can be used in the professional training of students majoring in 028 Management of Sociocultural Activities, and can also be adapted for other majors in the field of culture and arts. The results of the study are suitable for implementation in the educational process of cycle commissions, college departments for the development of work programs, electronic educational resources, methodological recommendations for teachers, which will contribute to improving the quality of professional training, the competitiveness of graduates, and their readiness for activity in a digitalized sociocultural space.
