The dissertation work summarizes the results of the study of theoretical and
scientific-methodological provisions and also develops practical recommendations
for assessing the innovative potential of sustainable development of enterprises in
industrial regions of Ukraine.
An analysis of the innovative activity of industrial enterprises was conducted,
which allowed us to identify the key factors that ensure their sustainable
development, competitiveness in the context of globalization and rapid market
changes. It was established that the innovative activity of enterprises contributes to
increasing the efficiency of resource use, the introduction of modern technologies,
the optimization of business processes and the minimization of negative impact on
the environment. Considering the principles of sustainable development, which
integrate economic, social and environmental aspects, allows enterprises to adapt to
modern challenges and ensure a balance between meeting the needs of the current
generation and opportunities for future generations.
The study confirmed that innovative development covers technological,
organizational, strategic and institutional aspects and requires effective management
of human capital and financial resources. International and Ukrainian experience
was analyzed, demonstrating the importance of a systemic innovation culture, open
innovation, cooperation with scientific and educational institutions, and regional and
state support.
It is determined that the sustainable development of enterprises requires a
comprehensive consideration of the relationship between economic, social and
environmental aspects at all levels of management - from the enterprise to the region
and the state. The region is a critically important link that provides enterprises with
human capital, infrastructure, logistical and scientific resources, and forms the social
and environmental responsibility of business. Sustainable development of industrial
regions involves the revitalization of outdated territories, the implementation of the
principles of the circular economy and "green" technologies, which allows reducing
the environmental load and ensuring the efficient use of resources. Innovative
enterprises act as catalysts for the development of regions, and the integration of
innovation clusters forms a national innovation ecosystem, increasing the
technological sovereignty and economic sustainability of the country.
The system-resource paradigm is studied, emphasizing the need for balanced
use of natural, financial and human resources, as well as a resource-oriented
approach to management to reduce risks and maintain socio-economic stability. The
interaction between the enterprise, the region and the country creates synergy, where
economic interests, social needs and environmental requirements are integrated into
a single system.
