Zakharchuk N. M. Change Management in the System for Ensuring the Economic Security of Industrial Enterprises. – A qualification scientific work submitted as a manuscript. Dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 073 «Management». – Khmelnytskyi National University, Khmelnytskyi, 2026. The dissertation is devoted to solving a scientific task that consists in developing the theoretical, scientific-and-methodological, and practical foundations of change management in the system for ensuring the economic security of industrial enterprises. In the introduction, the relevance of the dissertation is substantiated; the purpose, objectives, subject, object, and research methods are formulated; the scientific novelty and practical significance of the obtained results are presented; the personal contribution of the applicant is outlined; and information on the approbation of the research results and publications is provided. In Chapter 1, «Theoretical Foundations of Change Management in the System for Ensuring the Economic Security of Enterprises», the basic categories of enterprise economic security are examined; changes as determinants of the transformation of the system for ensuring the economic security of enterprises are characterized; and models and tools of change management in the system for ensuring the economic security of enterprises are presented. In Chapter 2, «Study of the Macroeconomic Environment and Organizational Preconditions for Implementing Changes in the System for Ensuring the Economic Security of Industrial Enterprises», an analysis of the transformations of the macroeconomic environment and their impact on the system for ensuring the economic security of industrial enterprises is carried out; the specifics of the functioning of industrial enterprises under turbulent conditions are determined; and the diagnostics of organizational preconditions for implementing changes in the system for ensuring the economic security of industrial enterprises are conducted. This approach was tested at industrial enterprises of Khmelnytskyi region, and an integral indicator for diagnosing organizational preconditions for implementing changes in SZEBP was determined, which makes it possible to form a set of managerial actions based on the obtained results and significantly simplifies the processes of implementing changes in SZEBP at the studied enterprises. In Chapter 3, «Formation of Change Management Tools in the System for Ensuring the Economic Security of Industrial Enterprises», a mechanism for change management in the system for ensuring the economic security of industrial enterprises is constructed; modeling of change prioritization in the economic security system of industrial enterprises is implemented; and verification of the framework model and substantiation of change priorities in the subsystems of economic security of industrial enterprises are carried out. A mechanism for change management in the system for ensuring the economic security of industrial enterprises (SZEBPP) has been constructed, the purpose of which is to ensure alignment between the strategic goals of enterprise development and priorities regarding ensuring its economic security. It makes it possible to increase resilience to crisis phenomena and minimize the negative impact of destabilizing internal and external factors through the alignment and effectiveness of transformations in SZEBPP. The structure of the mechanism includes the main stages of change management based on the organizational and individual contours, organizational and motivational subsystems, as well as the resource basis of SZEBPP. The modes of the mechanism’s functioning (basic, planned transformation, accelerated adaptation, anti-crisis) are established. The interrelation of change triggers, parameters of their impact, and the modes of functioning of the change management mechanism in SZEBPP is determined. A theoretical basis for constructing a framework model for identifying challenges and sensitive components of SEBP as an initial basis for change prioritization has been developed. The expediency of using a common approach both for ranking challenges and for determining priority subsystems of SEBP is proven, which ensures the unification of managerial decisions. A set of crisis, structural, and trend-based challenges is considered, and the need for their comparative analysis with obtaining relevant priorities is proven, which determines the expediency of changes in SEBP and makes it possible to move from describing challenges to formalized change management under conditions of turbulence. The model was tested at industrial enterprises of Khmelnytskyi region, which made it possible to determine global priorities both for challenges and for SEBP subsystems.
