Essay

The goal of the study is as follows: to determine, substantiate, and experimentally verify pedagogical conditions for the formation of future doctors’ managerial competence in the context of university education. To achieve the research goal, a set of objectives that need to be accomplished has been identified: 1) to study the formation of future doctors’ managerial competence in the framework of university education as a scientific and pedagogical problem, to substantiate its essence and structure; 2) to determine the criteria, indicators and levels of formation of future doctors’ managerial competence in the framework of university education; 3) to substantiate pedagogical conditions, the implementation of which allows to ensure positive dynamics in the levels of future doctors’ managerial competence formation in the context of university education; 4) to develop and implement scientific and methodological support for the formation of future doctors’ managerial competence in the framework of university education; 5) to organize a pedagogical experiment to test the effectiveness of substantiated pedagogical conditions for the formation of future doctors’ managerial competence in the context of university education. The professional training of future doctors in institutions of higher medical education is the object of the study. The pedagogical conditions for the formation of managerial competence of future doctors in the framework of university education is the subject of the study. Methods: analysis and synthesis; generalization and systematization; comparison and juxtaposition; induction and deduction; abstraction and concretization; expert evaluation; surveys; observation; questionnaire-based inquiry; testing; pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical statistics. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the fact that for the first time the pedagogical conditions for the formation of future doctors’ managerial competence in the context of university education (the targeted stimulation of future doctors’ professional interest in the formation of their managerial competence; the enrichment of the content of educational components based on considering the essence and structural composition of future doctors’ managerial competence; the integration of interactive pedagogical tools into a professionally oriented educational process in a higher medical education institution; the development and implementation of scientific and methodological support for the formation of future doctors’ managerial competence in the context of university education) have been identified, substantiated and experimentally tested; the essence and structure (deontological-motivational, cognitive-informational, operational-functional, personal-reflective components) of future doctor’s managerial competence have been substantiated; the scientific and methodological support for the formation of future doctors’ managerial competence in the context of university education has been developed and implemented; the essence of the concepts of professional competence, management, and managerial competence of a future doctor has been clarified; the diagnostic toolkit has been improved based on the definition of criteria (value-motivational, knowledge-informational, activity-behavioural, reflective-analytical), indicators, and levels of formation of future doctors’ managerial competence in the context of university education; theses on the structuring of a modern doctor’s professional activities, which determine his competence characteristics and form an understanding of the essence and structure of the managerial competence of a modern doctor; the organizational specifics of the formation of future doctors’ managerial competence in institutions of higher medical education have received further development.
