Demchuk O.I. Formation of Management Systems for Agricultural Enterprises Based on the Digitalization of Business Processes. – Qualifying Scientific Work as a Manuscript.
The dissertation is devoted to the development and improvement of theoretical and methodological provisions and practical recommendations for the formation of management systems for agricultural enterprises based on the digitalization of business processes. The relevance of the research is determined by the need to increase the efficiency, adaptability, and competitiveness of the agricultural sector under conditions of economic digital transformation, growing market instability, and increasing requirements for sustainable development.
The first chapter examines the theoretical aspects of forming management systems for agricultural enterprises under conditions of business process digitalization. The main components of management systems are identified, the vectors of digital transformation are determined, and the principles of forming digitalized management systems are clarified. It is substantiated that agricultural production is characterized by a high dependence on natural factors, seasonality, and risks, which necessitates the use of integrated digital solutions and modern data analytics tools. The systemic management approach covers subsystems of technological support, risk management, financial planning, quality control, logistics, and organizational development.
It is proved that the key directions of agricultural enterprise digitalization include the implementation of information technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT), sensor systems, mobile applications, e-commerce, and digital infrastructure. The use of data analytics enables forecasting production results, optimizing resource utilization, and increasing crop yields. The study emphasizes the importance of the economic efficiency of digital solutions, continuous software updates, innovativeness, and the professional development of personnel.
The second chapter analyzes and evaluates the level of rationality in managing agricultural enterprises under conditions of business process digitalization. It is determined that the digital transformation of the agricultural sector is an important factor in increasing productivity, reducing costs, and ensuring the sustainable development of enterprises. Particular attention is paid to the use of technologies such as artificial intelligence, ERP systems, blockchain, production process automation, and digital logistics.
The barriers to digitalization are analyzed, including insufficient Internet coverage, limited financial resources, managerial conservatism, and the low level of digital literacy among personnel. At the same time, it is proved that the comprehensive consideration of technological, organizational, informational, environmental, and regulatory factors enables agricultural enterprises to improve management efficiency, ensure transparency of business processes, optimize resource utilization, and expand sales markets.
The third chapter develops an economic and mathematical model for optimizing management systems of agricultural enterprises in the process of business process digitalization. The proposed model includes dynamic, stochastic, adaptive, and multicriteria elements, which make it possible to account for environmental uncertainty, market fluctuations, and environmental risks. Considerable attention is devoted to risk forecasting using simulation modeling, scenario analysis, and intelligent agents.
A mechanism for monitoring digitalized business processes based on the integration of artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things has been developed. Its implementation ensures timely assessment of key performance indicators, increased management transparency, and prompt response to changes in the external environment. The practical testing of the proposed approaches confirmed their effectiveness in increasing productivity, reducing costs, and ensuring the sustainable development of agricultural enterprises.
The obtained results form a scientific and methodological basis for improving management systems of agricultural enterprises and provide practical tools for implementing the digital transformation of agribusiness.
