Essay

The dissertation solves the scientific and applied problem of improving the technologies for manufacturing intaglio printing forms for obtaining intaglio prints by harmonizing and optimizing chemical and mechanical methods of manufacturing the form, as well as improving the quality of printing by improving technological parameters. Namely: using optimal etching conditions and the method of applying the aquatint technique, using an engraver to apply tone and textures to the form, optimizing the printing process. Based on the work carried out, the following significant results were achieved: for the first time - a structural model of factors of the intaglio printing process was created, which formalizes their interdependence as a technological system, the analysis of which makes it possible to establish the influence of these factors on the quality of the technological process; - a multi-level model of the influence of factors on the technological process of printing from intaglio printing forms was synthesized and optimized, which made it possible to establish their priority according to the degree of influence on the quality of the printing process of intaglio prints; - varieties of materials and tools of the technology of manufacturing intaglio color printing forms were identified and systematized, which made it possible to substantiate the parameters of the optimal technological process for obtaining intaglio prints of a given quality. improved: - the technology of creating intaglio printing forms by applying the proposed technology to create high-quality print impressions without the need for special equipment or a complex technological process, this use opens up new opportunities for the needs of printing; further development received: - application of chemical and mechanical methods of manufacturing forms, which allow achieving a new high-quality artistic and graphic result (reproduction of textures, tonal effects).
