Based on the conducted research, the state of development of the problem of training future specialists in the technology of inspection and maintenance of automobiles in higher vocational colleges of the People's Republic of China in pedagogical theory is characterized. The paper presents the theory and practice of training future specialists in the technology of inspection and maintenance of automobiles in higher vocational colleges of the People's Republic of China, characterizes the training of specialists as a scientific problem, determines its place and tasks in the country's vocational education system, describes the trends and prospects for the development of such training in higher vocational colleges.
As a result of studying the practical experience of organizing educational processes by vocational colleges of the People's Republic of China, modern directions for the development of vocational training for specialists for the automotive industry were determined, which consist in: implementing a competency-based approach; strengthening the role of practical training of students through the integration of education and production, material and technical support of the educational process and the organization of students' practical work; purposeful improvement of the level of professional skills of teachers; improving teaching methods and implementing problem-based learning, interactive educational technologies and organizing team educational interaction; introducing the «1+X» certification model into vocational training.
As a result of the research conducted on current trends in the training of professional junior bachelors in motor transport in Ukraine, ways to improve the quality of training were identified, which require: taking into account transformational processes associated with the modernization of the content of training in accordance with the modern needs of the industry and the labor market (improving professional training through updating the regulatory framework, updating the content of educational programs, targeted selection and modernization of the content of educational components) and taking into account permanent modernization changes in the organization of the educational process (development of mechanisms for applying teaching methods, resource provision of the educational process, establishing cooperation with production, application of information and communication technologies, monitoring the results of the quality of education and making optimal decisions).
Based on the analysis of the theory and practice of training specialists in the technology of inspection and maintenance of automobiles in the vocational education system of the People's Republic of China and professional junior bachelors in motor transport in Ukraine, a number of unresolved contradictions were identified, which was subsequently reflected in the formation of the goal and objectives of the study.
The criteria and indicators for comparing professional training in the People's Republic of China and Ukraine have been determined as special means that allowed measuring certain categories of educational processes and their states for their further evaluation and comparison: regulatory, organizational-gradual, content-procedural, material and technical support, organizational-methodological and management of quality assurance of professional training.
The stages and ways of implementing progressive elements of the educational practice of the People's Republic of China in the professional training of professional junior bachelors in the specialty J8 «Automobile Transport» in Ukraine have been determined for implementation at four levels: national, institutions of professional pre-higher education, the automotive transport sector and personal. In order to implement positive experience, it is proposed to gradually introduce special changes into the educational processes of Ukraine in three stages: priority special modernization of professional training; targeted organizational and managerial activities to ensure the flexibility and adaptability of the educational system to modern needs and changes; organization of control over the results of professional training and assessment of the effectiveness of the systemic support of educational processes, their analysis and correction. A model of implementation of the ways of implementing the progressive experience of professional training of specialists in the technology of inspection and maintenance of automobiles in higher vocational colleges of the People's Republic of China into the educational practice of Ukraine has been built, which reflects a complex and systematic combination of the main components of the implementation of the ways of implementation based on the implementation of the main state tasks, includes four levels of participants in such a process and demonstrates interdependence in the performance of such work at three stages of active actions.
