Essay

Object of the study is the process of the development of Ukraine's national economy under the conditions of wartime challenges, structural transformations, and post-war recovery. The purpose of the dissertation is to provide a theoretical and methodological substantiation of the development of Ukraine's national economy under wartime challenges and during the post-war recovery period; to analyse its current state, wartime losses, and external sources of support; and to develop organizational, economic, institutional, and financial mechanisms for national economic development based on the adaptation of international experience. Research methods include analysis, synthesis, scientific abstraction, generalization and systematization, comparative analysis, and other general scientific and special research methods. For the first time, a comprehensive organizational and economic mechanism for the development of Ukraine's national economy during the post-war period has been developed. The following have been improved: scientific provisions regarding the application of international experience in ensuring national economic development; scientific and methodological principles for analysing international sources of financing Ukraine's reconstruction; the approach to assessing the financial needs of post-war recovery; approaches to assessing the state's losses resulting from the war; and provisions concerning the institutional support of investment-attractive enterprises. The following have been further developed: theoretical provisions concerning the development of the national economy under contemporary conditions and the conceptual foundations of its post-war transformation, as well as theoretical provisions regarding the financial mechanism for national economic development. The research findings have been implemented in the activities of enterprises and organizations.
