Study the clinical and roentgenologic signs of Sprengel's disease, the anatomic and functional classification has been worked. Close and end results of the surgical treatment have been studied according to the functional and cosmetic criteria. Electromyographic and histologic investigations of the shoulder girdle muscles as well as of macro- and microstructural changes of formations in the comparison with clinical and roentgenologic manifestations permitted to determine the cause and effect relations and to solve some questions concerning etiology and pathogenesis of Sprengel's deformity.
