Essay

The aim of this work is to turn out physico-chemical data required for the elaboration of a new, more effective combined method capable enough to remove stones from kidneys by means of consecutive application of extracorporal shock wave lithotriptor (ESWL) and later direct dissolution of stones in human kidneys (ascending litholysis). For this purpose it was obtained and analyzed relations among 12 physico-chemical parameters of urine, measured experimentally for the groups of healthy persons and patients with urate stone disease (USD). Roles of these parameters in the formation of uric acid stones has been analysed also. In the present work, for the first time it was studied the influence of weak nitrogen-containing bases - pipepazine, triethanolamine and imidazole on the dissolution kinetics of urate concrements in model solutions, containing ions of ammonium, alkali and alkaline-earth metals. It was formulated the optimal conditions for the dissolution of urate stones in systems, simulating the basic parameters of urine of patients with urate stone diseases.
