Essay

This dissertation discusses the inclusion of the "everyday routine" in contextual reconstructions of science. Methodologically, the research is based on philosophic approaches inherent in analytical philosophy, structural functionalism and phenomenological tradition. The conclusion drawn from the analysis of theories and concepts of modern philosophy of science is that it is impossible to directly include the routine in the context of scientific reconstruction due to fundamental incommensurability of "the realm of science" and "the realm of everyday routine". Main difficulties of theoretical description of the phenomenon of "everyday routine" were demonstrated, including those rooted at the level of the conscious. A conceptual approach was proposed, which allows to develop models of contextual reconstruction of science. Within these models, it becomes possible to overcome the incommensurability of "the realm of science" and "the realm of everyday routine": (a) on the basis of description of commensurab le components, common points of the realm of science and the realm of routine were determined; and (b) on the basis of a created system of indirect constructs, the most prospective models have been analyzed. Main methodological principles of the reconstruction of heteromorphic entities were defined. Key words: philosophy of science, methodology, everyday routine, comparatibility, commensurability.
