153 children were studied, of them 53 were ill with reactive pericarditis pneumonia. 70 patients ill with pneumonia without concomittent lesions of the pericardium and 30 conventionally healthy children were controls. The aim of the study was an increase in efficacy of reactive pericarditis in children with pneumonia on the basis of developing the complex of clinical, laboratory and instrumental criteria of perycardium affection against the background of pneumonia. Methods of study: clinical ones, echocardiography, electrocardiography, laboratory (circulatory immune complex). Equipment: echocardiograph, electrocardiograph, manometric membranous device. Theoretical and practical value: occurrence of pericardium affection due to pneumonia in children, the influence of premorbid background and specific features of clinical manifestation, findings of echocardiography, electrocardiography and peculiarities of cardiohemodynamics in such patients, interrelations of reactive pericardium due to pneumonia with affection of the pericardium, the pancreas and the liver were studied; pathogenetic and diagnostic significance of the circulatory immune complex, impairments of proteinogram in reactive pericarditis were determined. The findings of the study are delivered in a course of lectures and practical classes for students of facultative pediatrics at the department of children diseases N2, Donetsk state medical university, and introduced into practical work of children's department of the medical institutions of Donetsk and Gorlovka.
