The research of structure and functional state of bone tissue in sick people who have a hip joint and dynamics of it changes in dependence of age and sex after total hip joint replacement. The indications for fixation of components of endoprosthesis in dependence of osteoporosis degree and according to the type of implantat were worked out. The operation technique of aged patients was improved and the new type of retractor was worked out and put into practice. The complex system of treatment and rehabilitation of aged patients was improved and the effeciency of use of antiosteoporotic remedies for treatment of osteoporosis of patients with hip joint replacement was proved in the practice.
