Oribatid mites. The analysis of biogeocoenotic structure and dynamics of the population of oribatid mites in reserved steppes of the South-East of Ukraine. The structure and dynamics of the population of oribatid mites on plots with various types of steppe vegetation and with a different condition of protection is investigated. The possibility of using the basic biocoenotic indexes of population of oribatid mites as criterions in soil-zoological diagnostics is shown. The negative influence of the industrial enterprises and agricultural activity (haymaking, grazing and ploughing) on a structure of population of oribatid mites is shown. For reserved steppes the 80 species are specified for the first time, 22 species are reduced for South-East of Ukraine for the first time and 3 species - are new for fauna of Ukraine. A research of communities of oribatid mites on steppe catenas with a various condition of protection is conducted for the first time. Singularities of the arrangement of oribatid mites on a soil structure with allowance for migration of singularities and specifity of the vital forms for the first time are considered. The obtained datas can be used as the measurement standard for bioindication and soil-zoological monitoring of an environment with the purpose of development of ecological process engineerings in an agriculture and definition of a degree of action on the soil population. Sphere of use are ecology, monitoring of soil, bioindication.
