The dissertation with the study of human cognition viewed from the conception of philosophic symbolism. Such notions as "symbol", "symbolism" and "symbolisation" are analysed on the basis of dialectic methodology and communicative-dialogic treatment of sociocultural universum. The efficiency of integration of basic theoretical statements of philosophic symbolism into gnosiological-methodological model of modern philosophy has specially emphasized.
