The new engineering solution is offered on the basis of which a high-precision working means of measurement of a speed of sound (MSS) is designed, for receiving high-precision data on structure of a field of sound speed in marine environment in a broad band of spatial-temporal scales. The system controlling functioning of MSS in operating conditions of application is designed. The techniques of laboratory and field tests are offered as well as a method and technique of a graduation and metrology tests of MSS.
