Gavrysh R. Application of blood ultrafiltration for the patient with tumor of brain in the early post-operational period.

This dissertation dedicates to the universal reaction as brain oedema-swelling, the different variations of which often appear with intracerebral tumors, also to the basis and the introduction of the method of extracorporational detoxication and dehydration with blood ultrafiltration in the clinic. In the dissertation the shortcomings of medical treatment of brain oedema-swelling of 85 (the second group) neuro-oncologic patients in the early post-operational period are proved. It is stressed that such medical treatment is conducive to the slow regression of brain oedema-swelling and involves suppurative-inflammatory complications. The inclusion of the method of blood ultrafiltration in the treatment complex is grounded on (181 operation of 116 patient - the main first group). This method increases resolution of brain oedema-swelling by extraction of extra- and intracellular liquid, and decreases endogenous intoxication, does not cause the dynamopathic process of circulatory dynamics, does not change e lectrolyte and albuminous blood structure and hemoconcentration process. The aim of the usage of blood ultrafiltration is the post-operational brain oedema-swelling which does not quite fall under medicinal treatment.
