Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to solving the concrete scientific task connected with design of highly-resource plazmotron for processing of powder materials and searching methods of increasing their working capacity and effectiveness. Searching the methods for solving such problems allowed to create single-camera liner plazmotron with gas-whirlwind stabilization of arc at capacity 50kWt containing the hollow copper electrodes, in which the transversal (screw) tranches are made,facilitating the breaking up of cathode and anode arc areas and distributing the current over the length of discharged channel. Such construction allowed to increase the working resource on comparison with famous projects of raise-dusting plazmotrons more that twice. During research of plazmotron it was exposed, that working resource of plazmotron and efficiency of materials processing could be considerably increased by influence on the positive arc post with external electrical indignation.
