Essay

175 species of algae are found in the soils of Mountain Crimean reserves. A check-list of the soil algae of Mountain Crimea includes 211 species. In the soils of inveastigated fytocenoses 12 algal communities were revealed. Investigations of 30 pure cultures of 12 algal species are carried out, some new data about their morfology, development and reproductive stages are obtained. One species is described as new for science.
