Essay

The thesis is devoted to research on thermal protection properties of heat generating and transport equipment insulation barriers in hot-water systems, as well to rising of barriers efficiency. Methods and apparatus were elaborated for thermophysical characteristics determination of insulation materials, also for local heat fluxes from barriers surfaces. The temperature and humidity dependency for basic themophysical characteristics of perspective foam rubbers were obtained. Heat losses from tubes in hot-water systems were measured for different pipe laying and tetnperature-humidity conditions including ' freezing-unfreezing" cycles. A fine of channel pipe laying was exposed to many years standing heatfluxmetric monitoring. Heat losses from barriers of basic types hot-water boilers were obtained. The item of heat balance for heat losses through barriers of boilers was generalized. Efficiency of brick-work replacement on fire-clay plates was determined. Recommendation for heat losses reducing were worke d and introduced. Key words: thermal protection barriers; equipment of hot-water systems; heat losses.
