The thesis is dedicated to the problems of clinical and experimental basis of the millimeter therapy application for complex treatment of chronical catarrhal gingivitis in children and teenagers. The thesis possesses data illustrating the morphofunctional changes in mucous membrane and the dynamics of some biochemical indicators of the gum homogenates and mouth liquid of the test animals caused by direct influence of electromagnetic radiation of extremely high-frequency range. Two years of clinical observations of children of different age, verified by the biochemical research of the mouth liquid, percentage determination of mobile electronegative cellular nuclei of bucalis epithelium and assessment of capillary bed condition on the basis of photocalorimetric parameters of the gum testifies to the fact that the millimeter influence on the parodontium tissues under the recommended schedule contributes to a steady prolonged treatment effect, extends the remission period and prevents further inflammation of parodontium tissues m teenagers aged 12-15.
