Object - Muscari botryoides (L.) Mill. subsp. transsіlvanicum (Schur) Soo and M.comosum (L.) Mill. The intention - integrated biological, morphological and population studies of genus Muscari (L.) Mill. Species in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Methods of Braun-Blanquet (1964), I.M. Beydeman (1960), T.A. Rabotnov (1950, 1960), O.V. Smirnova et all. (1976), Y.A. Zlobin (1989), L.B. Zaugolnova (1993), I.V. Vaynahiy (1973, 1974), Z.T. Pausheva (1988). The problems of taxonomic structure of M.botryoides agg. in Transcarpathia are elucidated. The main pecularities of bioecology of local populations, age, space and vitality structures of the populations, strategy types in different growing conditions have been stated. Ontogenesis and reproductive biology have been studied. The variability of morphometric features of vegetative and generative organs between and within the populations was defined; anatomical features significant for systematics were identified. The reasons of reduction in numbers of the population s have been found out, and measures on conservation of local endangered populations have been elucidated. The studies are of interest for systematics, population biology and autsozology.
