The object of the research is the Enrichment of Modern English Vocabulary from Non-Literary Systems.The aim of the research is to reveal the role of colloquial subsystems in the growth and development of Modern English. The methods of the research are lexicographical analysis of dictionary definitions, componental, structural-semantic, descriptive, contexual, comparative, calculations. The scientific novelty: the complex linguistic and sociolinguistic analysis of pecularities of Standard English interaction with substandard systems was carried out. The theoretical importance: definite contribution to the study of sociolinguistics, language contacts, semaciology, word-formation of the English language was made. The practical results: the reasons, ways and means, mechanism and results of substandard words adoption, assimilation and functioning in Standard English were determined. The subject and the level of the inculcation - the materials of the research are used in the English language teaching pra ct ice in Higher Schools.The field of application is the linguistic courses of English.
