Essay

Objects: layered conductors (BEDT-TTF). Goals: to determine dependence of surface impedance from magnetic field. Methods: solving of Maxwell equations complemented by Boltzmann kinetic equation. New results: The penetration of a wave is found essentially to depend on orientation of an magnetic field. Influence of character of superficial reflection on a skin-layer depth is analysed. It is found that the intensity of weakly damping waves dependent on a polarisation. A spectrum of such waves is found. It is shown that the presence of a quasi-one-dimensional cavity of a Fermi surface brings about the increase of attenuation depth of an electromagnetic field. Possibility of excitation a nonlinear waves with small amplitude in layered conductors is shown.
