Essay

Ecdysterone, C27-steroids, erythrocyte membranes. Study of ecdysterone interaction with plasma membranes. Thin layer chromatography, fluorescent spectroscopy and radioisotope methods were used. It has been shown that the activation of sphyngomielin cycle under the ecdysterone and calcitriol action; the ecdysterone interaction with erythrocyte membranes; the ecdysterone competition with calcitriol for binding places on the membranes. The data obtained are important for further investigation of molecular mechanisms of ecdysterone action in mammalian. Field of application is scientific institutions of medical and biological type.
