Essay

The subject of the thesis is an increase in accuracy of calculating the heat exchange of disks in rotors of gas turbine engines applied. Relationships have been obtained and programs have been developed to calculate mean convective heat transfer coefficients for effective rotor disk radius with axial cooling medium flow at steady and transient operating of engines having different pickup values. It has been experimentally proved that the influence of disk plate thickness and engine pickup on heat exchange within rotor space in the GTE should be taken into account. The results of the present investigation have found practical application for assessment of heat condition in rotors at the stage of designing GTE of new types with increased service life.
