Essay

A study of peculiarities of the vegetative disturbances in patients with a spinal column osteochondrosis depending on its localization and patients' age has been undertaken. There has been found an interrelationship between osteochondrosis localization and the indices of a spectral analysis of cardiac rhythm variability; this allows to use this method for the diagnosis of vertebrogenic vegetative abnormalities. For patients with neuro-reflectory manifestations of cervical osteochondrosis of the spinal column, it has been found that against a background of the intensity of the sympathetic and parasympathetic autonomic nervous system there prevails a sympathetic nervous link activity.
