. The family in the society which is undergoing transformation. To found the pecularities of the family & general tends of struc- tural changes exist on the border of centuries. What is the neces- sary & possible methods of fixing the family's status, functions and popularity with taking into account socio-cultural transfor- ming conditions. Analysis of socio-demographic's dynamics, observation, sociological survey and social work with youth. Recomendations are: to review the place of family in the Law & legitimation methods by securing the status of the household as a subject of economic activity. The method of social work with families was inculcated in The Kharkiv Regional Center of Social Serverses to Youth and in some Kharkiv institutions.
