Essay

The theoretical and experimental research of peculiarities of flash-butt welding of thin metal strips were carried out and the technological bases of their welding with a use of voltage of an increased frequency of a restangular shape are developed. The determination criteria of physical similarity of the flashing process of thin (1 mm and less) metal strips are considered. The new technology of flash-butt welding of flexible cutting instruments and the technology of heat treatment of welding joints are developed.
