Essay

The thesis presents algebraic and logic models based on finite predicates algebra designed for natural language texts formalization. Parts of speech of natural language are represented in a predicative form and operations of conjunction, disjunction and inverse operation are introduced. These operations promote realization of the three types of word-forms links in word combinations and sentences. Structure of word- forms with two bases is considered and mathematical model describing general form of a complex word using certain identities of linguistic algebra is formulated. Based on theoretical results obtained in the course of the present research the software was developed that converts representation of natural language sentences into the form of graph-scheme and the formula of linguistics algebra. The models developed are used to develop computer dictionary of economic terms as a component parts of expert system linguistic interface as well as in the teaching process.
