Essay

Investigation object: large grey breed geese at age of 1-13 months. To give the age morphofunctional characteristic of different oviduct compartments of large gray breed geese is the investigation aim. Investigation methods: histological, histochemical, morphometrical. Theoretical and practical results: morphometrical index dynamics of geese oviduct wall in different periods of postnatal ontogenesis and different organ growth rates; differentiation tissue and functional periods of geese oviduct compartments were determined; the age morphofunctional characteristic of wall structural elements of different geese oviduct compartments were given. Innovation novelty: new dynamics data of morphological indices of structural elements of oviduct wall in postnatal geese ontogenesis period were obtained; poor and intensive development terms of reproduction system and large grey breed geese puberty; interaction of histological and morphometrical indices of structural elements of oviduct wall with its functional co ndition were determined. Introduce degree: investigation results supplement and deepen the data of age and species morphology of reproductive poultry system and can be used in educational, scientific and reference literature on animal morphology and physiology. Thesis materials are used at the educational process and scientific research in chairs: animal anatomy, normal and pathological physiology of Sumy State agrarian University, animal anatomy and physiology of Poltava State agricultural Institute, normal and pathological anatomy of Dnipropetrovsk State agrarian University. Thesis materials can be useful at the working out and improvement of raising growing goose technology for flock reproduction and also at the revealing of disturbance reasons of goose reproductive ability. Application branch: veterinary medicine, poultry breeding.
