Essay

Risk factors of children birth with malformation of hip joint and its delayed formation in postnatal period have been determined. The diagnostic algorythm was suggested by the author taking into account risk factors, case history peculiarities, clinical signs, ultrasound findings. The developed algorythm of the differentiated treatment allowed to individualize its duration depending on the age when the treatment was started, disease severity and presence of risk factors of delayed formation; and when necessary to prolong the treatment, to priscribe the additional measures depending on the severity of associated somatic diseases and monitoring of following hip joint formation.
