One-dimensional field mathematical models to calculate transients in generalized nonsalientpole electrical machines of two types: with wound rotor and with squirrel-cage rotor have been developed. The models take into account the main magnetic core saturation, spatial harmonics of magnetomotive forces and also deep bar effect in interconnection of listed factors. The series of regularities of listed factors influense on the transients in nonsalientpole electrical machines have been detected.
