Essay

Dissertation is devoted to development and theoretical justification of contact thermal penetration possibility in deep bowels of the Earth by autonomous thermal probe. The carried out theoretical researches of the up-deep contact thermal penetration method demonstrates the possibility of putting this method into practice is quite grounded theoretically. It is formulated and solved the problem of the thermal penetration process optimisation, allowing to increase its effectiveness by optimal choice of thermal probe surface form. It is developed the procedure of main output engineering parameters determination, such as thermal penetration velocity, melt layer thickness, temperature and thermal flow density distribution on the thermal probe work surface. The examined method of thermal penetration doesn't have any alternative among existing methods of drilling with respect to velocity and penetration deepness in bowels of the Earth. It is carried out analysis and choice of design materials from the viewpo int of their suitability for development of the thermal probe capable to realise the over crust penetration in the Earth bowels. The developed in the presented work method of contact thermal penetration and basis of engineering and physical conception of autonomous thermal probe reveal the ways of realisation of principally new technique for reaching the up-deep horizons. The areas of such technique usage are quite different.
