The object of the investigation - scanning electronic microscopes (SEM): stabilysation work of SEM, metric and geometric properties of SEM-images, quantitative characteristics of microsurfaces of solid bodies; the aim of investigation is to work out the theory and practice of operative photogrammetric processing of SEM-images; methods of the investigation and environments - analytical and experimental, up-to-date hardware-assisted; theoretical and practical results have provided evolution of stereophotogrammetric methods in scanning electronic microscopy, that allow to establish optimal parameters of SEM-surveying, to obtain 3-dimentional characteristics of different kinds of microsurfaces with high accuracy and provide reliability of the scientific research results and gaining of production efficiency; innovation's actuality lies in working out new methods and technologies of getting and photogrammetric processing of SEM-images; stage of the installation - developed methods are tested in many researc h instutions and laboratories; the field of usage - research organizations and laboratories, medical institutions, that explore qualitative and quantitative characteristics of solid bodies and biological objects for the SEM.
