The thesis is dedicated to the problems of stabilization of the rotary printing apparatus work by means of making the pretention between cylinders. The theoretical researches of spring interaction of rotary printing press stages are carried out (the rotary press with letter-press and planographic printing). The reguirements as to hardness of printing press and accuracy of making of support cylinder rings are formulated. The method of caleulation of the rotary printing press cylinders' cross vibrations is worked out. The stabilizing role of pretension is searched. The practical recommendations for designers of printing presses are worked out.
