Essay

The aim of this work are the development of new experimental technique and phenomenological approaches to describe the optical properties of disordered and periodical solid state heterosystems. The methods for determination of polarizability of disperse particles in dielectric matrix and spectral density function was proposed. The Bruggemans symmetrical effective medium theory taking into account the shape particles distribution and phase correlations, the dimensionality variations in the percolation threshold of heterosystems were modified. The dielectric function of GaPAs alloys was described. The methods for phonon-polariton modes origin determination in strained-layers polar semiconductor superlattices was proposed. The technique of IR-transmission for determination of the confined optical phonon's parameters was proposed.
