Ivanchenko K. Management of Joint Ventures Development with Attracting Foreign Capital.

This thesis deals with theoretical and practical issues in setting up and functioning of Joint Ventures which are considered to be one of the most effective forms of attracting and using direct foreign investments and optimum variants for investing foreign capital into the Ukrainian Sphere of businesses. The thesis also concerns world experience as for government regulations and the ways how to stimulate Joint Ventures development as well as how to adopt them to the national economy. Principal tendencies and problems of Joint Ventures creating, operating and development in Ukraine are estimated and analyzed, special attention being paid to Poltava region. The thesis regards the main factors of Joint Ventures development, designs a set of recommendations, specifies the basic trends of government stimulating of Joint Ventures development. Finally the thesis reveals that the most effective way of managing Joint Ventures development is the result - based management and suggests the best ways of attractin g productive foreign capital into the businesses of Poltava region.
