Essay

Objects: two-dimensional easy-plane antiferromagnets, layered magnets with the ferro- and antiferromagnetic interlayers. Goals: analytical description of static topological solitons in magnets with the structural defects of the types of crystal and magnetic dislocations and magnetic media interfaces. Methods: continual consideration of the two half-spaces, with a nonlinear condition at the boundary with the structural defect. New results: New models are developed for investigation of the magnetostructural topological solitons and new physically important equations are derived for the fields distribution in the solitons. It is shown analytically that magnetic disclination or domain wall are associated with the crystal or magnetic dislocations in AFM and with a step on FM/AFM interface. Structure of the topological solitons is described analytically for the first time.
