The object of research: marketing activity of enterprises; the aim of research: theoretical grounding and elaboration of scientific-practical recommendations as to determination of the ways of improvement of marketing information support in conditions of transferring enterprises to business-process management; methods of researches: methods of logical generalization, technical-economic analysis, system approach, economic and mathematical modeling, statistical and matrix methods; theoretical and practical results: the list of IDEF-methodologies and required supporting software for their implementation is worked out; the ways of use of such marketing information characteristics as scarcity and confidentiality are developed, the passport of specialty "information manager" as well as major tactical and strategic tasks of information management are determined, the rules of implication of reengineering technology for development of information support of marketing in conditions of radical changes of business -processes of enterprises are improved; practical meaning of the received results of researches grounds on that they allow to determine reserves of development of marketing information support of enterprises; the subject and level of application: the works are applied at Kharkiv Electro Equipment Plant, Kharkiv Electro Products Plant and "Edips" Ltd.; sphere of usage: industrial enterprises, teaching process.
